The main reason I’m running for mayor is that I deeply care about Murray and I know you do too.  It is one of the best places in this country to live, raise your children, and retire; I know because I have experienced all the above in Murray.

 

We have an awesome heritage and much to be proud of.  Not only has our city made dramatic progress over the past decade, but it stands poised for continued growth and development beyond our wildest imagination, even in the face of our current economic struggle. From magnificent Murray State University to our friendly neighborhood communities and growing business sector, we must protect and nurture our assets.

 

If we take care of what we have and make smart decisions now, our community's future continues to be bright and prosperous for all.   Murray will stay in position to attract private investments, create jobs, and open doors of opportunity for more of our residents.  Now is not the time to just “sit back and let things happen!”  Together, we must evaluate our priorities, make a plan, and begin to shape a collective vision that will serve as our road map into the future.

 

The purpose of my website is to provide the opportunity for you to get to know me, to explain to you how I intend to conduct my campaign for mayor and  to discuss the specifics of my platform.  I hope that you will spend some time now, and return often for updates.
